Campus Visit Notes for Barnard College

Visit Description:

I visited twice, once to conduct a regular tour and info session, and another time to meet with an admissions officer and do my interview. At first Barnard was one of the top schools on my list, but after my visits its standing quickly plummeted. The friendliness of the student body is present but minimal, and the friendliness of the admissions officers is barely passible. It may be the "New Yorker attitude" but I got the impression that a strong community feeling and just a general sense of "caring about each other" was not present.
