Visit Activities:

Campus Tour: Yes - It was good. We covered pretty much everything.

Campus:

Friendliness/Courtesy of Students:
Over winter vacation, so there weren't any students on campus.

Friendliness/Courtesy of Staff:
Winter break.

Appearance of Campus:
It was very nice. There was a lot of construction going on, and it was winter, however.

Building/Facilities Maintenance/Cleanliness:
Very clean, though that could have been from the lack of students.

Dormitories:
We saw one room, and it was very open and sunny. There was a lot of closet space.

Security/Safety:
Security guards at the doors, id sign ins, blue light, safe havens.

Overall Campus Impression:
Very nice.

Off-Campus:

Area Immediately Around Campus:
Nice. A lot of cute shops, its NYC. The area closest to the college has a lot of college-oriented stores, like groceries.

City/Town/Community:
Its NYC.

Campus Visit Notes for Barnard College

Visit Description:

We arrived on a monday during winter break, so it was pretty bare on campus. There was a security man at the front gate. We saw a tour of the dorms, and we even got to see an actual dorm room. The campus itself was nice, though they were building the new Nexus building, which will have a lot of things. I really liked it.
