Campus Visit Notes for Barnard College
I live outside of NYC so I just came in for a day trip. I had read all about Barnard at home. Was blown away by how immersed it was with Columbia. I loved how kind, international, and confident all the Barnard women were. Curriculum was better than Columbia's. You get best of both worlds at Barnard. Campus is small, but you get CU campus too.
Hotel/Lodging Recommendations or Comments:
I commuted from home for the day.
Dining/Restaurant Recommendations or Comments:
Restaurants: Community, Bettelona, Pisticci, Absolute Bagels, Merlot Bistrow, Nussbaum and Wu.
Other Comments (Transportation, local attractions, parking, etc.):
Subway stop right outside of Barnard/Columbia (both sides of street). Take 1 train, super easy to get around NYC.
