Campus Visit Notes for Bowdoin College

Visit Description:

To be honest, I wasn't that impressed with the school after the tour and info session. I hadn't really talked to any students yet and it seemed very similar to the other LACs I had already visited. However, my interviewer was very open and enthusiastic about the school and seemed genuinely eager to share her experience with me. I highly recommend talking to people; just looking around and listening to the information session doesn't give a complete picture.

Hotel/Lodging Recommendations or Comments:

Didn't stay in Brunswick

Dining/Restaurant Recommendations or Comments:

Lots of nice little restaurants; I ate at a New York deli-style place on Maine Street

Other Comments (Transportation, local attractions, parking, etc.):

The ocean is very close. I loved Portland, about a half hour or so away.
