They're not kidding when they say "dorms like palaces." Our tour guide's room was a single with a bay window / window seat that was stunning. Nicer than D's bedroom at home!

Campus Visit Notes for Bryn Mawr College

Visit Description:

Loved the "sorority" (in a good sense) feel -- welcoming, part of a community, sisterhood, traditions. Evident the students felt real pride. D was worried about the boy-issue but was reassured boys were available through Bi-Co and Tri-Co. She was also worried about the stereotype of women who attend a women's college but was reassured that the stereotype wasn't true (that it was all types, not man-haters). It catapulted to the top of her list. H and I were also very impressed.
