We visited what my tour guide said was the smallest dorm room size on campus, and it was much bigger than dorms at other colleges I've visited. I would be happy living in one! [View Full Report]

They showed us what they considered the worst dorm and it was awful. [View Full Report]

Carleton is residential, meaning most students live in campus-owned housing for four years. The dorms were comfortable and homey - we looked at older dorms and the new dorms for a full perspective. [View Full Report]

Very well organized layout; cozy but still room for 2 people and a guest. [View Full Report]

Variety of dorm spaces - singles, doubles and triples. Some older buildings with character. Some suites. Some shared college owned houses. Coed floors, no freshman only dorms, all multi-age. [View Full Report]

I saw one of the news ones so it probably wasn't terribly representative. Room was big. Personally, a little skeeved by coed bathrooms, but whatever. I don't have to use them. [View Full Report]

Seems like with the two new dorms, a lot of overcrowding has been eased. I stayed in a de-tripled double; it was about average size for a triple and definitely spacious for a double. [View Full Report]

Compared to the dormitories I've seen elsewhere, the one I stayed in was like a palace (it was a triple that was actually supposed to be a double). [View Full Report]

There are many different living options, and some dorms are definitely better than others. (Freshman, hope for Davis) [View Full Report]

I stayed in Watson, which looked and smelled like a former hospital. Very clean, VERY warm. Comfy. Co-ed floors, bathrooms had stalls and two shower rooms w/ doors. LOUD on Friday night. [View Full Report]

I think there's kind of a range of dorms at Carleton. Goodhue, though far away, has really big rooms and nice views. I'm not sure about the others. Carleton is building 2 new dorms for 2009. [View Full Report]

I visited 4 dorms. They were all dark and old and dingy. LIVABLE by all means but for all 4 years? really not that amazing. I never visited the senior houses though. [View Full Report]

Dorms were fine - nothing special. One thing, we learned "coed" is defined differently at different campuses. At Carleton coed is a mix of boys and girls on a floor. No parietals here. [View Full Report]

Kind of small, I think they are having a housing crunch, but are about to build a new dorm. The dorm looked pretty good though. They have a pretty randomized rooming policy, so everyone is mixed. [View Full Report]

I actually really, really liked the dorms and they're the best I've seen yet. Relatively small, like all dorms are, but the one we saw (a double) definitely had enough space. Nice shape and [View Full Report]

We went in an "okay" dorm on the tour...typical dorm sort of thing. Afterwards we spent time in Burton and the room was amazing. [View Full Report]

There are a variety of housing options available - old dorms with character, newer dorms, townhouses, living in town. I haven't heard any complaints about any of them - all of the rooms appear to provide ample space. [View Full Report]
