My student host was very helpful and offered many advice and answered my questions well. He showed me around campus and introduced me to some of his friends, who were as helpful and friendly.
I visited two classes, and both professors were very kind. I sat in their class and afterward I talked to them about Cornell, what classes they teach, etc. Overall an excellent experience.
Campus is gorgeous. Most of the buildings are built out of red bricks and there are so many trees around campus. It's clean, well organized, and beautiful.
Very clean, in working order, etc
Dorms were good. Each house had a computer lab, a hang-out area, the dorms were decently sized with basic furnitures. I wouldn't mind living here for even more than 4 years!
There were those emergency telephones with blue lights decently distributed around campus. The atmosphere felt safe, and most of my friends who are currently students there said they always felt safe.
I was very impressed by the campus. It's one of those campuses that look as good or better than the brochures hahaha.
The falls are nice and the area around is rural with lots of trees, sparsely populated, etc.
Ithaca's a small city, but you can find your way around with bus, friends with cars, etc. I havent been there but most people dont complain much about its small size.
Campus Visit Notes for Cornell University
