I learned this from my own research, but Cornell's crime rate is absurdly low. It was dark when we left, but I still felt very safe. The Blue Light Phones help give off an atmosphere of security. [View Full Report]

I was completely comfortable letting my S walk around campus at midnight with other pre-frosh. When I went to pick him up, I saw young women students out walking in groups also. Blue lights present. [View Full Report]

Hard to gauge, but the fences along the bridge to North Campus were disturbing reminders of Cornell's unfortunate suicide history. [View Full Report]

There were those emergency telephones with blue lights decently distributed around campus. The atmosphere felt safe, and most of my friends who are currently students there said they always felt safe. [View Full Report]

Hard to enter a dorm without your ID, and there are numerous blue safety lights located throughout the campus. Very safe feel. [View Full Report]

There is a police station right on campus, a bus system to bring you home at night, and a blue light system where you can ask for a boy and girl escort to get back to your room. [View Full Report]

Good, but because there is very little activity on most parts of the campus, walking around quiet areas of campus late at night definitely needs to be done with caution. [View Full Report]

The campus is isolated(not in a bad way) so it's pretty safe. Like at most schools, if you don't make stupid decisions then you'll most likely be fine. [View Full Report]
