Visit Activities:

Admissions Interview: Yes - I had one, but not on-campus during the visit. The guy was in his mid-thirties. He was a lawyer, and was super cool.

Information Session: Yes - The presenter was a recent graduate from Duke, and was really funny. There was so many freaking people there, but I was one of the few seniors (tee hee hee).

Campus Tour: Yes - I went on the university tour first, but then I left to go on the Pratt(Engineering Tour). Our tour guide was really outgoing, we went inside the new Eng. buildings, and saw some labs/classes. A+!!!

Classroom Visit: Yes - All of the newer engineering buildings and classes were really top-of-the line and clean. Some of the older classrooms seemed kind of ...grungy. But yeah, good overall.

Campus Visit Notes for Duke University

Visit Description:

I love duke now. My visit definitely catapulted it towards the top of my list. Even though it's not ranked tops for engineering, they're putting lots of money into making it better/bigger. The students seemed pretty good-looking on the whole. Athletic, smart, and well-rounded. I hope I get in.

Hotel/Lodging Recommendations or Comments:

Stay at the Washington Duke Inn if you can afford it.
