The students at Duke were really friendly and helpful.

Each staff member I met was kind and helpful at answering my questions.



Appearance of Campus:

Duke's campus was so beautiful. There were lovely lawns and great, prep-school like buildings. The campus had a nice, small-town feel and was easy to navigate.



Building/Facilities Maintenance/Cleanliness:
5 - Excellent

The entire campus and buildings were clean and well-maintained.



Dormitories:
4 - Very Good
4 - Very Good
Even though I didn't have the opportunity to go inside the dorms, the outside of the dorms were very nice. Their main problem is that most of them don't have AC, a problem for me during a NC



Security/Safety:
5 - Excellent

Duke is in a nice, small town without much crime, but just in case has many machines outside that can easily alert the police.



Overall Campus Impression:

Overall, I liked my experience at Duke. I hope I'll be able to matriculate next fall.

The area around campus was really nice and had great scenery.



City/Town/Community:
4 - Very Good

Durham is a nice little town; my only problem was the lack of things to do off campus. There wasn't much shopping or eateries to visit.

Overall, I loved my experience at Duke. I hope I'll be able to matriculate next fall.

There were several hotels near Duke's campus.

Dining/Restaurant Recommendations or Comments:

There are several nice restaurants right near campus.

Other Comments (Transportation, local attractions, parking, etc.):

It is relatively close to UNC-Chapel Hill, so that was nice.
