Campus Visit Notes for Mount Holyoke College

Visit Description:

I am the Dad. I made the choice for my kids to see this school. Neither of my kids wanted to see this school. Neither had even heard of it, but since we were going to be in Boston, I set up a visit at Mount Holyoke. Both were against going.

By the time the tour was over, BOTH kids put it on their list of schools they think they want to possibly attend. One of them still thinks she might want to attend there. The other said this was 2nd choice, after Simmons College in Boston.

We all liked the small shopping area right next to the campus. We all enjoyed taking a trip down to Amherst for a bit more to see and do.

I'm hoping one, or both of my kids picks this school.

But we just today, found out that we know someone very high up the Simmons chain, and have no doubt my one daughter will no doubt end up there if she chooses Simmons. ( She has no worries; she would make it on her own, anyway ) But I am hoping for both to go to Mount Holyoke.

Dining/Restaurant Recommendations or Comments:

There is a tavern there... Tavern is in the name... the food was GREAT.
