Visit Activities:

Information Session: Yes - Speaking-wise not the best--the guy was a little awkward and said "Let me just back up a bit" far too much, but information-wise there was all sorts of useful information. Very very helpful.

Campus Tour: Yes - Freaking gorgeous. Tour guides were freshmen, very enthusiastic and warm. It was really disorganized, but in a totally casual way that made it really appealing to me. All improvised, you could tell.

Hahah... they told us that the ones we saw were as bad as it gets, which was ... pretty tiny. A little claustrophobic.

I could see myself walking around campus at 3 AM and not feeling unsafe, plus they have all the security measures so yeah.

Claremont is cute, I think. Reminds me of where I live, which was a plus. Could be a little closer to LA but hey, there are the mountains.

Campus Visit Notes for Pomona College

Visit Description:

The smog was pretty bad, but it let up later in the day and the mountains were GORGEOUS. I was so anxious to see this school to hope it lived up to my expectations and it broke every single one of them. I adore Pomona.
