Visit Activities:

Information Session: Yes - Session was conducted by a bubbly recent grad now on the admissions staff. Her enthusiasm won us all over, particularly the emphasis on the school's honor code and sense of tradition.

Campus Tour: Yes - Despite its small size, W&L has a fairly sizable campus and impressive facilities. We also enjoyed hearing about all of the school's historical ties.

Campus Visit Notes for Washington and Lee University

Visit Description:

Despite the fact that she tripped over a curb and broke her pinkie toe within 10 minutes of setting foot on campus, W&L emerged as one of our daughter's favorite schools.

Hotel/Lodging Recommendations or Comments:

I highly recommend the Hampton Inn Col Alto. It is within walking distance of downtown Lexington and campus.
