Visit Activities:


Information Session: Yes - The information session was very informative. They had 4 past alumni (both old and recent graduates) from the college express how they feel about Wellesley and about their own experiences.

Campus Tour: Yes - The tour guide was friendly and nice. she answered all the questions and told us all about the campus traditions. my favorite was the passing of the hoops.

Overnight Visit: Yes - I stayed with a nice girl. she made me feel welcome she showed me around herself,to places i didn't get to see in the tour. She was even nice enough to give me her email so i could her ask questi

Classroom Visit: Yes - I took a Japanese class. the class was small (just how i like it)and the professor was kind.

When i did not have sleeping bag for the overnight, one of the staff member was able to provide me with one for the night.

The campus has modern elements, but not so modern that it feels cold. it was fall when i visited and all of the tree's leaves were changing color. it was beautiful

The dorm was like any other. nothing amazing but wasn't horrible so i was glad.

i felt very safe on campus.

I am so applying there!! I was unsure before the college visit (all woman's college) but now i am not!

Campus Visit Notes for Wellesley College


Visit Description:

I had a travel grant from Wellesley. i was nervous about applying to an all girl school but i had fun. so now i am going to apply.

Hotel/Lodging Recommendations or Comments:

I stayed in my hosts dorm. Sleeping on the floor was not fun, but hey the college paid for my visit and provided a sleeping bag.

Dining/Restaurant Recommendations or Comments:

with the travel grant i was provide meals. and my host made sure i ate something at the cafeteria both dinner and breakfast. she even paid! The food was very good.
